Purpose: Damage and interrupt

9 Water Magic
12 Curses

Weapon: anything that deals WATER damage

Conjure Frost
Insidious Parasite
Faintheartedness
Parasitic Bond
Soul Barbs

Ressurection Signet

now, please do not just say my build sucks or whatever, just help me out on where i went wrong

Summary:
The point of this build is to do damage with conjure frost and your hexes, while you interrupt their every skill with spinal shivers. This build is not the greatest against melee but can do pretty well against casters monks etc. please try this build and see if you develop a liking to it

ENJOY! and please help me out on where i went wrong

Change ur Attributes:

12+1+3 Death
10 Water
8+1 Soul Reaping

Skills are okay, if u have Factions, use Icy Veins for your elite, if not, use something else.

1) This goes in the builds section.

2) This build really isin't that good. Rethink the entire idea and then repost it along with the builds of the 3 other charactars in your team.

3) Why do you have points in Soul Reaping for TA? It's really a worthless form of energy managment anywhere outside of HA or ABs.

4) Do you think the interupting from Spinal Shivers is going to merrit bringing with just one source of cold damage to trigger it?

5) What's to prevent someone from just removing Spinal Shivers? Or even just strafing your wanding?

About 5 and 6, you say this build does well against monks, everyone(who's descent) uses a boonprot in TA. Most run Hex Breaker or CoP, or both. Plus most of the skills they'll use are 1/4s casts, you really think you can hit those with your wanding? Maybe Guardian and Signet of Devotion, or MoR/Edrain, but that's a fairly large maybe...

6) Why do you have Soul Barbs in your build? It sounds like you're planning for it to do alot of damage from you spamming faintheartedness, insidious parasite, and parasitic bond, but are you going to have enough energy? If you do have enough energy, will the miniscule damage from just your hexes make it worthwhile, or is this intended as part of a team build? If so, please post the rest of the team.

7) You're not using any runes at all, and no headgear either. Rework the attributes with runes and headgear... Please.

8) You mean cold damage, there is no such thing as water damage.

I tend to agree with Zui here. Making a build centered on the use of spinal shivers in PvP is a bad idea to begin with. The odds that you'll be able to interupt a monk are slim, and you have a lot of hexes to be casting (when you're casting you're not wanding, so shivers and conjure are wasted.

It seems like a rather confused build, not good, but with no obvious solution to make it good. IMO, I'd scrap it, or save it for RA, you could have fun with it there >.<

Not true. The metagame is changing, and boon prots are slowly being phased out. The best teams in TA right now aren't running boon prots at all, although only a select few have come up with a better solution.

SS can work really good, as long as its based on an E/Ne with Ether prodigy, and an icy axe warrior. My guild has done many consecutives with this ^^
